Our Story

Meet Pam & Brad: Our Journey Back to Honest Bread

We didn’t start out as professional bakers. We started out just like you: as a family looking for real, honest food.

A few months ago, we took a hard look at the bread we were bringing home from the grocery store. We realized that the loaves on the shelves were packed with unpronounceable preservatives, dough conditioners, and processed sugars. Even the "healthy" whole wheat options were made with commercial flour that had been sitting in warehouses for months, stripped of its natural nutrients and often sprayed with chemical weedkillers.

We knew we wanted better for our family, so we decided to take matters into our own hands. We went back to the absolute basics.

We brought a grain mill into our Henderson kitchen and started sourcing premium, Certified Glyphosate-Free wheat berries directly from a family farm in Washington. We learned that when you mill flour fresh right before you bake, it retains all of its natural vitamins, fiber, and deep, hearty flavor. We started baking bread the old-fashioned way—using nothing but fresh-milled whole wheat, water, yeast, salt, and a touch of natural honey. No junk. No shortcuts.

The difference in taste, texture, and how we felt was incredible.

That’s when The Daily Grind Bread Company was born.

We realized that our neighbors in Henderson and Las Vegas were searching for this exact same thing: nutritious, clean, and delicious bread that they could feel good about feeding their families. We wanted to make it as easy as possible for our community to access real food, which is why we decided to combine old-world baking with modern convenience. Today, we mill the grain, bake the loaves, and load them into our car to deliver them straight to your front door.
